This free online vision test will help you determine if a vision condition is affecting you or your child’s quality of life. 

When filling out this survey, please select the box that best describes how often you experience each symptom. When answering for a child, please ask each symptom as a question. If the child responds with “yes,” please ask “how often” and answer accordingly. 

 

Developmental Vision Evaluation

When a child or adult exhibits signs of reading and/learning difficulties, the first step should begin with a Developmental Vision Evaluation.

 To start,  doctors begin with an in-depth case history, followed by a comprehensive sensorimotor and visual perceptual assessment. This assessment measures eye coordination and visual processing related to reading fluency, letter reversals, handwriting, attention/ concentration, and overall learning abilities. 

After testing, our doctors will determine if any visual diagnoses are impacting educational performance, prescribe appropriate lenses when necessary and provide a written report, including classroom accommodations, and plan for therapeutic solutions to visual problems for future educational success.
